As a friend or loved one, you can help your Service member with alcohol use. For example, if you are worried about a friend’s drinking habits, think about talking to them about their drinking habits. They may not realize they are drinking too much or too often. Use the information in this section to plan your conversations and find ways to help the people you care about.
