Al-Anon Family Groups

If you are worried about someone else’s alcohol use, visit www.al-anon.org for information and resources about how to support a friend, family member or colleague who is struggling with alcohol use.

National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) Alcohol Treatment Navigator

The Navigator can help you figure out what to look for in a support or treatment program and help you decide what is right for you. Visit www.alcoholtreatment.niaaa.nih.gov to explore your options.

As a Service member, be sure to check your Service’s specific policy on where you can seek help for concerns about alcohol. If you use an option not listed in your Service’s policy, you may not avoid punitive action under the UCMJ.
